Join us and the arts and crafts thrift store, Secondhand Salamander, for a two week class on the basics of acrylic painting. There will be plenty of paint, canvases, food, and socializing to enjoy! Instead of making a boring painting that looks like everyone else's, you'll learn real painting skills that can be used in a variety of ways over and over again.
Together we'll learn a little bit of basic color theory, paint mixing, image transfer techniques, and value mapping. By the end of the two sessions you'll be well on your way to making a painting you can be proud of. No prior drawing or painting skills are required. You don't even need to be good at stick figures! More experienced painters are also welcome to attend to socialize and refine their existing skills.
Let us help you pay for childcare or transportation while you attend this class! Email development@togetherartsutah.com to arrange an easy reimbursement for your costs from our dedicated childcare and transportation funds.
